June 18, 2013 -- Warner Bros. has announced that on October 10 the 1950s Vincent Price classic "House of Wax" will make it to Blu Ray in 3D. Now that's a good reason to get a 3D Blu Ray player. Even better, Scream Factory is releasing a slew of Price films on Blu Ray this year, among them "Fall of the House of Usher", "Pit and the Pendulum" and "Witchfinder General." Here is the art work for their upcoming box set.

For the first time, all twelve Friday the 13th films will be packaged together, (with seven of them making Blu-ray debuts) as a result of a strategic distribution alliance between Paramount and Warner announced last fall, granting Warner exclusive video distribution rights to over 600 Paramount titles. June 12, 2013 -- Mugworth Productions has launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise money for their latest production, a horror anthology titled Zombificador. Supporters can donate anywhere from $1 to $5,000. Perks include producer credits, limited edition Blu-rays, autographed posters and scripts, memorabilia and even an appearance the movie. All contributors are also invited to appear in a DVD featurette.

June 10, 2013 -- The 1950s and 1960s, drive-ins began to spread like wildfire, increasing to more than 4,000 locations. The new sites may have begun as a venue to watch films, but interestingly, the main films that were shown were mostly considered to be B films. Patrons enjoyed them regardless and remained enthralled with what they saw – so much so that the drive-in became a part of American culture where people came together to socialize with each other. It was an experience all of its own making and is today is considered an important part of Americana.
