February 12, 2009 Samuel Bayer, the director of the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video for Nirvana back in the 1990s, will be directing the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake.



So says the Hollywood Reporter. Filming stars in April from a script penned by Wesley Strick -- the guy who wrote "Arachnophobia" (remember that old PG horror movie?)
