Most R-Rated Game Ever -- House of the Dead - Overkill

February 13, 2009 We've put together a quick sneak preview of new horror videogame "House of the Dead". . Check it out below.

Due for release in February, Headstrong Games' "House of the Dead: Overkill" is set to be the most R-rated installment yet in the game series.

It's rated 'M' not only for violence, but also partial nudity, sexual themes and even language! The player is charged with mowing down waves of infected, blood-thirsty zombies in a last-ditch effort to survive Bayou City and uncover the horrific truth behind the origins of the "House of the Dead." The game was developed with a B-movie look.

Players can also use "Slow-Mofo Time" to make the perfect head-popping shot and "Evil Eye" to spot moments of opportunity that’ll send the whole environment up in flames.

Overkill serves as a prequel to the first game in the series, and takes place in the year 1991 where Special Agent G – the protagonist of The House Of The Dead series – is given his first assignment. Teamed up with Detective Washington, they are sent to investigate stories of mysterious disappearances in a small town in Louisiana and to hunt down a villain known as Papa Ceasar. Little do they know about the blood-soaked mutant depravity that awaits them in the streets and swamps of Bayou City.

The game also enables use of the motion sensing of the Wii Remote to initiate melee attacks.

Another new feature called Battle Screen will add challenge to the game. It will expand the camera beyond the screen, forcing players to move their point of view. The game will also feature two player co-operative play.
