'Scared to Death' Heading to DVD

October 30, 2007 The 1981 hard-to-find "Alien" clone "Scared to Death" is finally getting a proper DVD release, courtesy of RetroMedia.

This just announced on RetroMedia's Web site:

We're pleased to announce that Retro will be releasing William Malone's first feature film, SCARED TO DEATH in March of 2008.
Presented in 1.85:1 enhanced for 16x9 from 35mm film elements, with lots of extra features.

The story: An ex-cop, now working as a hack novelist, is called out of retirement to help investigate a string of deaths that appear to be the work of a serial killer but soon are revealed to be the work of the Syngenor - the synthesized genetic organism!
