June: Not a Strong Month for Horror on DVD and Blu-Ray

June 2, 2009 As studios hold back on releases until fall, the summer is looking pretty grim for horror on DVD. Only titles really worthy of note this month are a slew of "Friday the 13th" re-releases -- on Blu-Ray and DVD -- and the release of the remake in both formats as well.

Watch for "F13" the remake, plus Friday the 13th Parts 2 and 3 on Blu-Ray and Parts 4-6 on special edition DVD June 16!

Meanwhile, a moldy, previously unreleased oldie called "Island of the Fishmen" with Barbara Bach, finally reaches DVD courtesy of Mya Communications toward the end of the month.
