Danielle Panabaker Admitted to John Carpenter's 'Ward'

June 18, 2009 Danielle Panabaker, best known to fans for starring in the Platinum Dunes' "Friday the 13th" remake, is now set to co-star along with Amber Heard in "The Ward," a horror movie being directed by John Carpenter for Echo Lake Entertainment.

Panabaker will play a snobbish girl in a mental institution apparently haunted by a girl. Mamie Gummer also stars, with a script penned by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen, with revisions by Jim Agnew and Sean Keller.

Heard is probably best known for playing the title character in "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" and she's also starring in "Zombieland" and the remake of "And Soon the Darkness," not to mention the remake of "The Stepfather."
