September 24, 2009 One of the classic horror films of the 1980s, David Cronenberg's "The Fly" is of course a horror movie remake. Now, in an industry obsessed with remaking everything, Cronenberg is set to redo his own timeless remake! Why?

Basically, Cronenberg is signed on to write, direct and produce a remake of his remake. Why not just re-release his remake? It's already perfect. 20th Century Fox, which released his '80s masterpiece, is set to release this one too.
