The advance buzz from test screenings is that the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake is a PG-13 piece of hogwash. The "Texas Chainsaw" remake from Platinum Dunes was passable as a retelling of a supposedly "true" event. The "Friday the 13th" remake could be swallowed as a sequel in the series -- not a true remake, which it wasn't. But this new non-Robert Englund Freddy film just seems like too much to swallow.
