September's Blu-Ray Picks: 'Return of the Living Dead' and 'Invsasion of the Body Snatchers'

August 22, 2010 MGM may be in such dire financial straits that they can't even produce a James Bond movie. But they at least can bring us "Return of the Living Dead" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" on Blu-Ray finally.

MGM/UA has officially let it be known that 1978's "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and 1985's "Return of the Living Dead" will hit Blu-ray on September 14. These are both great, vintage horror films, long overdue for a high-def release.

We haven't heard about any specs for these releases.
