'Devil's Meeting' - Interesting Promo

September 12, 2010 M. Night Shamalayan may have made some annoying movies of late -- although "The Happening" had its bright spots. The new one he's producing is simply called "Devil" and it's about a group of people who are trapped in an elevator with the devil himself.

Sounds very "Twilight Zone"-ish, which is usally what Shamalayan's films are like. In any case, Universal has posted a new site, The Devil's Meeting, where nutbags can post confessions of devilish behavior. A pretty fun site with some pretty disturbing confessions on there. We'll see how far Universal lets it go.

The film is based on a story by M. Night Shyamalan, written by Brian Nelson, and directed by John Erick Dowdle. The film will be released on September 17, 2010, and will be the first of The Night Chronicles trilogy, which involves the supernatural within modern urban society.
