David Cronenberg's 'Videodrome' Gets a Blu-Ray Date

September 16, 2010 Mark your calendar. On Dec. 7, Criterion will unleash David Cronenberg's "Videodrome" and Guillermo del Toro's debut "Cronos" on Blu-Ray.

"Cronos" has actually become something of a tough find on DVD, drifting out of print about a half decade ago. And "Videodrome" has never been available in high-def -- although it's long overdue.

Since these are both Criterion Collection releases, you can expect a ton of bitchin' extras -- and of course perfect picture quality.
