'1408' Director Takes 'The Rite'

October 21, 2010 A trailer is live now for "The Rite," a horror film from Mikael Hafstrom, director of "1408." Film looks pretty interesting, as it does star Anthony Hopkins and Rutger Hauer.

The movie is about an American seminary student who attends exorcism school at the Vatican and tackles demonic forces. It's apparently based on a true story.

True or false, it's good to see "Exorcist" knock offs are still being made 37 years after the original. Here's the trailer. Look for it in theaters January 28, 2011.
