With the success of "Piranha" and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" in 2010, more horror remakes have been announced at this year's American Film Market -- including the old William Shatner oldie "Kingdom of the Spiders."
Stealth Media Group at American Film Market announced they will be remaking "Kingdom". No word on director, writer or star -- but obviously they would be required to get William Shatner to at least cameo.
Also at AFM, there was some buzz around "The Howling Reborn," which sounds like it will be a sequel/remake of "The Howling."

The original "Kingdom of the Spiders" was a 1977 horror/science fiction film directed by John "Bud" Cardos and produced by Igo Kantor and Jeffrey M. Sneller. The screenplay is credited to Richard Robinson and Alan Caillou, from an original story by Jeffrey M. Sneller and Stephen Lodge. The film was released by Dimension Pictures (not to be confused with the distributor Dimension Films, which released the 1996 slasher film Scream.) It stared William Shatner, Tiffany Bolling, Woody Strode, Lieux Dressler, and Altovise Davis.
