'Paranormal Activity 3' Set for Halloween 2011

November 19, 2010 It was inevitable. A third "Paranormal Activty" film is set to hit theaters October 21, 2011. No director is set. It will be interesting to see if they can make another movie set around the events of the first film.

"Paranormal Activity 2" smashed opening weekend records for a supernatural horror film ($40.7 million) and made $82.3 million total in the USA, a bit less than the first film's $107.9 million. They managed to do it right, unlike "Blair Witch 2", and now have a franchise on their hands.
