Anthony Hopkins Set to Play Hitchcock in 'The Making of Psycho'

January 22, 2011 "Psycho" is arguably the greatest slasher film ever made. Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 masterpiece serves as the basis for every horror film we see today, really.

Now, the great Sir Anthony Hopkins is set to play Hitchock in the non-fiction adaptation of Stephen Rebello's 1998 book, "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho."

At least this is according to a slew of online news sources, including the Hollywood Reporter.

Sounds like a must see. Sacha Gervasi will be writing and directing.
