2012 is going to be a busy year for sci-fi movie fans -- and adding to the list of must-see films is Ridley Scott's "Prometheus," which may or may not be a horror movie. It is set in the same universe as Scott's original "Alien" film -- but may or may not feature the alien.
It does have a cast -- and a big one. The Daily News reports that Idris Elba, Sean Harris and Kate Dickie have joined Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender in the huge budget spectacle, the story of which is being kept a closely guarded secret. But it must be a pretty good story if 20th Century Fox is putting this much star power behind it.
The film is such a secret that cast members were only allowed to read the script within Ridley's production office and of course had to sign secrecy clauses. It will be interesting to see what the film is ultimately all about.
