'Lifeforece', 'Vampire Lovers' Get Blu-Ray Dates

January 12, 2013 Two R-rated vampire films from the '70s and '80s, Hammer's "The Vampire Lovers" and Tobe Hooper's "Lifeforce," are getting the high-def treatment on April 30.

Previously available as a non-anamorphic DVD, "Lifeforce" will arrive as a DVD-Blu Ray combo pack that boasts the rare original theatrical version of the film plus its longer international cut.

Both films will feature plenty of bonus features. Most important, they will be in high-def for the first time, courtesy of Scream Factory.
