'The Omen' to Get Its Own TV Series

May 19, 2014 If you thought the less-than-spectacular June 6, 2006 remake of "The Omen" was the last you heard of Damien Thorn, think again.

A "Damien" TV series is now in the works and will appear on the Lifetime network. No doubt attempting to cash in on the success of the "Walking Dead", "Damien" will follow the life of Damien Thorn. No cast has been announced yet.

Glenn Mazzara is putting the show together. The show will apparently ignore the events of "Damien: Omen II" and the "Final Conflict" and focus on a young man Damien coming to grips with the fact that he is the Anti-Christ.
