FALSE: Maggie Grace is the New 'Alice'

December 6, 2007 Note: This rumor has been confirmed false: Maggie Grace, of "Lost" fame, is replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar in Marcus Nispel's "Alice," adaptation of the videogame. Of course, Nispel will need to finish "Friday the 13th" before he can work on this.

Years after her first experience in Wonderland, Alice (Grace), now a disturbed young woman mourning the death of her parents, returns to the land of talking animals and the wicked Queen of Hearts. Based on the computer game "American McGee's Alice," Wes Craven used to be attached to this project.
