George Romero Directing 'Diamond Dead' Next

February 8, 2008 Remember "Diamond Dead"? It was a zombie/musical/comedy that George Romero was attached to before he helmed "Land of the Dead". Now that he's already done with "Diary of the Dead" and is talking sequel, it's kind of a surprise to heart that "Diamond Dead" is alive, back from the dead.

"I got a phone call two days ago, before I came here, from the producer saying 'We're back!'" he said, adding he was surprised because he worked for years on the project and "it looked dead." The interview is "forthcoming" and got previewed on Cinematical.
