David Gordon Green Remaking 'Suspiria'

March 6, 2008 It seems like every horror classic from the late '60s to the '90s is getting remade. Now filmmaker David Gordon Green has written -- and will direct -- the remake to Dario Argento's "Suspiria."

“No, it doesn’t make a lick of sense,” David Gordon Green laughed with MTV News. He revealed that he’s already written and hopes to direct a new version of the 1977 film. “But it’s wicked. I love it, plot holes and everything.

“‘Suspiria’ is a classic for me,” he continued. “I want to be scared. I want to be afraid.”

Green's last film was the drama "Snow Angels" with Kate Beckinsale.
