Paramount Announces 'Cloverfield' DVD

March 17, 2008 Matt Reeves' ultra-popular monster movie is heading to disc April 22.

The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras include a commentary by Director Reeves, four featurettes (The Making of Cloverfield, Cloverfield Visual Effects, I Saw It! It's Alive! It's Huge, and Clover Fun), six additional scenes (Congrats Rob, When You're in Japan, I Call That a Date, It's Going to Hurt, Alt Ending #1, Alt Ending #2), and many eastereggs.
Paramount, which just quit HD-DVD for Blu-Ray, has not announced a Blu-Ray yet. Note: The image below is the theatrical poster, not the cover art, which hasn't been officially unveiled yet.
