Quick DVD and Blu-Ray Horror Briefing

June 23, 2008 Here's some news on "Child's Play and "An American Werewolf in London."

On Sept. 9, MGM will release a 20th anniversary edition of "Child's Play" -- the first time a widescreen version of the film has ever been available on DVD. It will include audio comentary -- in some cases by the character of Chucky -- and other goodies too. We can hope for a Blu-Ray the same day, but it hasn't been announced as yet. ...

Meanwhile, "An American Werewolf in London" is due to hit Blu-Ray in 2009, director John Landis told Bloody Disgusting. The Blu-Ray will feature "Beware the Moon: Remembering an American Werewolf in London," Paul Davis' documentary about the film.
