June 26, 2008 "1408" will be the second horror film from Weinstein Co. to hit Blu-Ray. It was a damn fine horror film, as you can read from our review here. It hits stores Sept. 16. Meanwhile, Weinstein's Dimension Co. has also made some big DVD announcements for horror fans -- especially Dario Argento fans.

Argento's "Mother of Tears" (review here) is hitting U.S. DVD September 23, "Feast 2" is hitting stores October 21 and a 3-disc version of Rob Zombie's "Halloween" hits stores Oct. 21 as well. It will feature a 4 1/2-hour documentary about the making of Zombie's remake.
