A special screening of George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead kicks off The Screamfest Horror Festival on Friday, October 12th at the Grauman's Chinese Mann Theatre 6 in Hollywood.
Screamfest, known as the "The Sundance of Horror," has been held annually since 2001 to showcase the best in horror filmmaking and
honor the masters of the genre. More information is available at Screamfestla.com.
Diary will open the festival this Friday, October 12th with a special
screening at 7:30 PM. You can purchase individual tickets for the
screening or as part of the Screamfest All Access Festival pass. As an added bonus, the star of Diary of the Dead, Josh Close ("Jason" in the film) will be in attendance.

Zombies Wanted!
This event is going to be a blast and the presenters want all Romero fans in and around the Los Angeles area to come out this Friday to celebrate George's latest film. They also want ZOMBIES!
Fifty zombies showed up to the world premiere screening at the Toronto International Film Festival and they were truly a sight to behold. Now they want the undead to take over Hollywood. Promotoers will be taking photos of the event to post online, so come out and show your zombie pride.
