October 8, 2008 Some Blu-Ray news just broke on John Carpenter's classic "Assault on Precinct 13" and several classic horror titles from Blue Underground.

Blue Underground has announced a January 27 release date for their debut Blu-Ray horror title, "Dead and Buried." Meanwhile, they're planning on releasing Dario Argento's "The Bird with the Crystal Plumage" to the format February 24. "Two Evil Eyes" follows March 31.Image Entertainment has announced plans to bring the 1976 John Carpenter action thriller 'Assault on Precinct 13' to Blu-ray in early December.

And Image Entertainment is releasing John Carpenter's uber-classic actioner "Assault on Precinct 13" to Blu-Ray December 2.
