'Friday the 13th' to Hit Blu-Ray

November 4, 2008 The original "Friday the 13th" is striking Blu-Ray early next year -- in its unrated form!

Confirmed extras include audio commentary with director Sean Cunningham, a quartet of featurettes ("Fresh Cuts: New Tales from Friday the 13th," "Man Behind the Legacy: Sean S. Cunningham," "Friday the 13th - Special Reunion," "Lost Tales from Camp Blood - Part 1") and the domestic theatrical trailer. It hits the format February 3. "Part 2" and "3" in the franchise are hitting DVD again that day too. No word on whether they'll receive the Blu-Ray the same day.
