Sometimes They Come Back (1991)
Directed by Tom McLoughlin

Starring Brooke Adams Chris Demetral Robert Hy Gorman Robert Rusler Tim Matheson

Initially made for television, scenes of violence were padded to it to make this Stephen King adaptation fit for the horror movie shelves of video stores.

One of the better adaptations of the horror author to hit either the big or small screens, the film follows a school teacher's (Matheson) return to his hometown, where as a child he witnessed the death of both his brother and a collection of high school thugs

Suddenly, he starts seeing the thugs in the very high school class that he's teaching. It isn't long before he realizes the thugs have come back to harass him and his family.

A fine horror film and a better-than-average King adaptation.
