Return of the Living Dead 3 (1993)
Directed by Brian Yuzna

Starring Abigail Lenz James T. Callahan Kent McCord Melinda Clarke Sarah Douglas

Yuzna, the director of the pretty weak "Bride of Re-Animator" and the horror anthology "Necronomicon," was recruited to direct the third—and again worst—chapter in the "Return of the Living Dead" saga.

Actually this isn't really a saga—just another movie that borrows some concepts from the awesome first movie. When a teenager's girlfriend (Mindy Clark) is killed in a motorcycle accident, he takes her body to his father's lab at a government facility, where the U.S. military has been conducting experiments at re-animating the dead. He brings her back to life and has to confront government agents that are after them.

Not an "invasion of the zombies"-style film like the first two, it still has some decent gore effects and laughs. It's not god-awful, but not even close to being a kick ass movie.

Yuzna would go on to direct the rather excellent "The Dentist."
