Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991)
Directed by Rachel Talalay

Starring Breckin Meyer Lezlie Deane Lisa Zane Ricky Dean Logan Robert Englund Shon Greenblatt Tobe Sexton Yaphet Kotto

The ads said, "They saved the best for last," but this wasn't the last and it was the all-time worst in the series. At this point, the whole concept of Freddy Krueger invading teens' dreams was so worn out that Roseanne and Tom Arnold were asked to make a cameo to spice up the movie. Don't see it. The gimmick when they released it was having the end of the film in 3-D, but you won't get the effect on video. It was followed by the exceptional "Wes Craven's New Nightmare."

Easily and by far the worst entry in the Nightmare series. When they said they saved the best for last, THEY LIED!! The only cool things about this film was getting to learn more about Freddy's past and seeing Alice Cooper at one of his abusive step-fathers...other than that, this is one suck-ass movie. At least the next two entries in the series improved greatly and were way more enjoyable and well-done than this one.
