Night of a Thousand Cats (1972)
Directed by René Cardona Jr.

Starring Anjanette Comer Zulma Faiad

Occasional touches of dry humor make this Mexican horror film slightly more bearable than most South-of-the-border product.

An eccentric millionaire picks up women only to grind them up into food to feed to his ravenous dungeon full of cats. He also likes to keep the heads of his female victims preserved in jars of formaldehyde.

He spends the rest of his time flying around Mexico City in his helicopter or playing chess against his mute butler who winds up as cat food after he makes the mistake of actually winning a game.

Pretty exciting stuff actually.
