The whole Freddy Krueger concept got really tired by the fifth movie, at the time the worst in the series. In this one, Freddy hopes to mate and give birth to the "Dream Child." Despite how bad this movie was, it gave birth to an even worse sequel: "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare."
