Damn good piece of schlock from the folks over at Redemption Films, this film has it all: Satan, nude chicks, a ridiculous monster spider and ludicrous surrealism.
A man and woman who have never met before get in separate car accidents near a mansion. They show up at the home looking for help, and wind up facing the devil, who uses every trick in the book in his attempt to seduce them into wickedness, including conjuring two dancing dudes wearing nothing more than loincloths.
The scene with the spider, which looks like something out of an Ed Wood movie, is worth the rental fee alone. There's also a ton of female nudity, over-use of the zoom lens (typical for Italian shockers like this), lots of bongo music and (on the DVD versions) the option of watching the pic in either Italian or dubbed English. The film does boast plenty of atmosphere. All in all, this is one of the better Euro-trash movies. Unfortunately, Redemption doesn't give it the over-the-top introduction they've put on some of their other releases, such as "Reincarnation of Isabel." Often, they're releases open with a long introduction by a British horror hostess accompanied by a group of nude and buxom vampiresses. Oh well, there was enough flesh in "Nude for Satan" to more than make up for it.
Batzella also directed the less-than-satisfactory "Devil's Wedding Night" and "SS Hell Camp."
