Directed by Marius Mazmanian and Ray Nadeau
Starring Sharon Kelly Uschi Digart
This is an odd one for the database, but it's my goal to one day have every Bigfoot movie ever made reviewed here, so here goes.
Exploitation starlet Digart's only Bigfoot movie was pretty bad. The basic story has two babes—Digart and Nadeau—running across Bigfoot while on holiday at a lakeside cabin. Buxom Digart has a groovy nude scene or two, but beyond that there's nothing to recommend here.
In fact, Digart looked better in her other movies, especially the ones by Russ Meyer, like "Supervixens" and "Cherry, Harry and Raquel."
Like many Bigfoot movies from the era, this one opens with narration to give it that "In Search of..."-style feel. Once Bigfoot terrorizes a couple having sex in the woods we realize this isn't your typical 1970s Bigfoot movie. It's kind of a cross between "Curse of Bigfoot" (only not nearly as funny) and some of the sexploitation stuff cranked out by Something Weird Video.
Like many a bad Bigfoot movie, the film is bogged down by its total lack of a plot. It's amusing to watch, but it's also a pretty painful process to sit through. Not as funny as "Curse of Bigfoot" or as enteraining as "Night of the Demon" (an early 1980s, bloody Bigfoot movie).
Also known as "Beauties and the Vixens."
