AMITYVILLE DOLLHOUSE (1996) Directed by Steve WhiteStarring Robin Thomas and Starr Andreeff Sucks! One brief sex scene and a few interesting moments with a zombie fail to make this even an almost-worthwhile movie. A family moves into a newly constructed home and discover a dollhouse shaped like the old Amityville house we all know and love. Naturally, weird, ghostly happenings start occurring, with evil spirits taking advantage of rifts in the family. The youngest stepson starts receiving visits from his dead dad, who now looks like he walked off the set of "Day of the Dead." His mother, meanwhile, starts getting the hots for the other boy in the familythe teenage son of the man she married. Faces in the fireplace and fake-looking demons in the cellar don't save this abysmal reworking of the tired Amityville formula. The film went straight to video.
