In
addition to the now infamous Splatter 666
collection of reviews, ESplatter also has the "Stellar 66," our roundup of what we consider to be the 66, all-time
greatest horror films of the modern age -- basically the late 1960s on
up with a couple noticeable exceptions (the main one being Hitchcock's
"Psycho" from 1960). Many have written us to say
this was a useful guide for what to look for at the local video store.
Some have written to blast us for putting "The Blair Witch Project" in
the Top 10. Whatever your opinions, these are the movies we're
passionate about, and the ones we've found worth watching again and
again and again and again. Just click on the film title to read the full
review.
